Raise your hand if you have a calendar hanging in your home or office! Yep, mine is raised. Now, where did that calendar come from? I would make a bet that at least some of these calendars were given to you by places that you shop.
Usually, come the end of December, I have at least three of the free promotional calendars from places that I frequently shop. I then use all these calendars for different things, including keeping track of my family schedule.
Here is another question: Does your company offer a free calendar to your customers? If you don’t, why not?
What is a better way to have your company in front of your customer for 365 days than by having them hang your company’s calendar on their wall? Think about how many times a day you look at one of those promotional calendars that you currently use, or even any calendar that you have hanging on your wall. Wouldn’t you rather have your customer looking at your calendar daily?
In this digital age, people may not believe that offering a printed calendar is beneficial, but most people still have a calendar hanging on their home or office walls. It offers a quick way to check on a date, upcoming appointments, and other things that people use a calendar for.
When someone glances at the calendar they have hanging on the wall they also take notice of the company that had given that calendar to them. This is a perfect way to have your company at your customer’s notice all year long.
Besides the fact that your company will be in front of your customers all year long, you can include coupons and free stuff in your calendars which will keep your company in front of your customer’s mind all year long. And by creating the calendar, you can customize it to your business. Include pictures that pertain to your business. If you are a restaurant you could include recipes. If you are a doctor’s office, why not include important information that would benefit your customers?
And calendars are a cheap marketing strategy which doesn’t end until the year is up.
